Meta/How RuneLibris works
Basics[edit]
RuneLibris works by making an abstraction of RuneScape's code through wiki tables. In order to assure that no interaction are missed, DPLs and validation pages are used.
Quest context indexing[edit]
When most players do quests, they tend to use guides and follow a "standard path". As a result of this, lots of quest interactions goes unrecorded on YouTube which create gaping data holes for any future RuneScape preservation project. RuneLibris aims to rectify this by first indexing the "standard path" of quests. Archival efforts are then concentrated on interactions that were not seen on any footage.
